Shortcuts

Is it possible to create a shortcut for an Office Tab group? It would be nice to be able to open the group w/o having to start excel first, then opening the group (after selecting a new workbook & then closing it). 
Understand that I can't imagine using excel w/o office tab b/c I love it, but just wonder if I could streamline the process.
